Those of you who gave it a 1 star didn't understand the movie, the mythology or the cultural references and need to pick up a norse mythology book, if you understood that you would be stoked. the 1 to 3 star rating just shows your lack of education towards the subject. Egger is a phenomenal director BECAUSE HE DOES HIS HOMEWORK ON WHATEVER SUBJECT HE TAKES ON. that's what makes him great. its sad to see people rating this so poorly when it's actually better than most. It's like the music scene you see so many acts that are actually terrible and get all the recognition while most didn't even write their own song and the bands that have actual songs they wrote that are absolutely genius see nothing of the sort. Educate yourself please directors with this type of work ethic only come so often.
