Omg there are no words to describe how damn crazy these people are! The opening line of the series is this woman telling you she loves chimps more than HER OWN CHILDREN! We finally get an interview with her son and he's so emotionally and psychologically abused and abandoned by his POS mother that this is his "normal" (child's life events vs animal needs watched... She stays with the damned animals!). It seriously sounds like this is equivalent to Munchausen by Proxy, but it's animals... It's just... Damn. Just waiting to see a capuchin monkey go crazy on the people who dress them up like baby dolls and get mad when they act like WILD ANIMALS. I started watching this and my husband was almost asleep when he heard the opening line and it pissed him off so much that he got wrapped into this too. Some of these people need professional help to a MASSIVE degree... Absolutely bonkers this whole thing is!

Absolutely loved the film & all the choices made! It was everything I could have asked for in the "origin" of Wonka! Anyone who hates the movie hates the fact it isn't all "sunshine & rainbows", but that isn't life! Especially if you think about what Charlie's life was like BEFORE his luck changed! The only disappointment I have in the movie is that there isn't MORE outrageous chocolates/candies with their individual "Wonka" touch portrayed! Super cute nonetheless!

I'm a soon to be first time mom of a bouncing baby boy. I picked up this book to see what it held between the covers & was very impressed. There are several words in the book that i question in relation to cognitive functions & understanding in small children, BUT, on the other hand, I'm a firm believer that if you don't talk down to your child, give them an expanded vocabulary & EXPLAIN words to them, that they will be better off in the long run. I am very proud to have bought this book, especially since i have been very involved with the marchs & protests regarding women's rights & BLM, & can't wait to read it to my son.

I laughed so hard during the pilot episode I scared my 2 month old! This show is exaggerated on some levels (the dressing like a *dad* scene comes to mind), but it isn't on so many others (the boss being nice to an employee's kid scene comes to mind here). It really does show how kids do *ruin* your life, but also how they bring a fun new adventure to it. I would definitely consider this *family friendly*. I can see why some people, especially those with a more conservative sense of humor, wouldn't find some of it funny. For example, how little discipline the kids show at home with the parents, but if you've ever been the "fun babysitter" it isn't anything you haven't seen before, BUT they have discipline when in public & that's more important to me. If you give it a chance, you're either going to love it or hate it, but there's nothing wrong with giving it a shot. Although if your children are easily impressionable, I would skip this during "family TV time".
