If you care for the laws of Physics more than you care for Bollywood stars, then 'Pathaan' isn't for you. The plot's cool and everything, but the spies are less like spies and more like futuristic sci-fi superheroes and that's not to comment on Siddharth Anand as a director for the movie is well made and has it's cinematic bits. So, let's appreciate what's worth appreciating: SRK's come back! The man who wanted to be a Bollywood action hero but became the king of romance instead is back with a bang! To cast John Abraham against him was as interesting as it was funny though. Did I mention that John as Jim, looked hot af? The background score is amazing, there's comical 90-s Bollywood references, the action scenes are entertaining to a point where some might end up craving more physics defying stuff. John had to ride a bike to look his best, Deepika had to ice skate and handle a badass gun, where as SRK just had to deliver his dialogues. Some power this man has over a million hearts, eh? However, I walked in as a SRK fan and walked out as a John Abraham fan (as well). If you can watch a movie without expecting much from it, but can accept it for what it is - go watch Pathaan and understand why it's making money! It also gave me major 'THE EXPANSE' vibes, so that's all from me, folks!
