Had to read to the end to know the outcome. Definitely one of the worst endings I’ve ever encountered. The story rambled too much for too long.

I’m reading this at the moment & am confused by the Prologue being set on NYE 1959 when the crime seemingly occurred but then the crime scene is discovered on Xmas Eve 1959. Am I missing something? It’s doing my head in.
