I stopped watching the show after Trump was elected, taking offense that America, with all its fault, was always being made fun of by an individual who couldn't make it in their country of origin. It would be like an American moving to the United Kingdom, in particular England, and repeatedly making fun of the Queen or the Prime Minister. Then to learn that he gave up his British citizenship to become an American is even more troubling. I can understand why you would want to be an American, especially if you were from a third-world country. Not England.
