This show is a unique departure to the original source material, changing the story to expand upon these characters and world. Spoilers Ahead in the review. This show really surprised me as I expected a pretty accurate depiction to the books, and it was very welcome. I enjoyed seeing Ramona as the main character and how she handled the story. This show also gives faith to the original source material and movie by making subtle jabs to them. Some misogynistic people are saying how they "ruined" the IP by making it a "woman empowerment" showcase. That couldn't be farther from the truth, this show was not created to empower a specific person just because it had a female male lead then a male lead. Overall the show was entertaining and fun to watch. I definitely reccomend this show to any fans of Scott Pilgrim and anyone who overall enjoys good media.
