I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. If your a horror fan and wanted an action packed scary movie obviously this isn’t the movie for you. Yes you know what’s going on the whole time, but I think the point is that it could happen to anyone including yourself. It’s creepy. I thought it was well shot and I thought it was realistic, to a point. If you moved to a new place where you didn’t understand the language and you were almost always alone in unfamiliar territory and you have this gnawing feeling that you’re being watched/followed on a daily basis, but no one will listen because they think you’re just being “hysterical”. You start to understand why she does what she does. The hopelessness you’d start to feel when no one will listen. I enjoyed it.

SPOILERS This was the worst of all the movies and that’s saying something. There is no actual plot to the movie and it just feels lifeless and dumb. The movie was short (probably for the best) and the ending was the worst part. How does the main character die, but the girl you see on screen for all of 20 mins is the sole survivor? One trope I hate in all of the horror movies Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Chainsaw is that the killer can somehow never die even if he gets his face split in half with a chainsaw. Make it make sense. Just bad.

I really liked it I finished it in a couple days I didn’t want it to end, but I really hope it gets a second season after that cliff hanger of an ending. If you like teen drama with a flare you’ll definitely like this and I am living for the Heather and Ray romance.

Great movie with great actors and visuals. Will definitely watch again! I recommend to anyone kids or adults. 😁

While others might think this movie is just an Alien remake of the sort, it absolutely wasn’t. It had depth (pun intended) and character and a storyline that kept me wanting to see more. It had characters who grow on you as the movie develops and you start routing for their survival. It’s heart throbbing and visually entertaining. For some maybe far fetched, but the beauty is they chose the ocean. Nobody really knows what lives in depths we’ve never seen. There’s endless possibilities and I think they did a fine job on their take of what could lie beneath the surface. The acting was great and Kristen Stewart really knocked it out of the park for me in this one. In my honest opinion it was really good and worth the time spent watching it.
