I wasn't expecting much from this movie but it was overall an enjoyable watch. There were some thrilling elements and I felt uneasy at times. Which ate things I like in thriller movies. Spoiler alert The end was kinda predictable for me but I have to say that the cinema production nowadays has quite some difficulty in making original plot twists. As soon as he ignored his lawyer's phone call twice I understood that he was off the hook and it ruined the ending for me. But still an enjoyable watch.

If you don't want to waste time, don't watch this movie. It is soooooo boring and underwhelming. Is not a comedy, is not a thriller. The whole movie is basically about their marriage. The "bad" people are super incompetent and the whole movie makes no sense! I had to skip forward just because I wanted to see the end (I am committed like that) but couldn't wait until it was finished. And sooooo predictable.

Meh. Giving it 2 stars just because Tim Burton and Danny Elfman but, I'd you're expecting to see something similar to the Addams family movies, you will be extremely disappointed. The first couple of episodes are kinda fun but then it just becomes the umpteenth teenage drama, plus superpowers/weirdness. The usual outcast plot like X men academy or the schools for prodigies. And a mistery that is a mistery for the first 2-3 episodes then it becomes boring and predictable. Morticia and Gomez Addams acting is awful and forced. And Fester... OMG. Don't get me started. I can see people saying that this is the best of the Addams saga. Say what? I guess you were watching the other nogkes with your eyes and ears closed. This movie has basically nothing to do with the Addams family. This is a family and teenage drama for a very young audience that knows nothing about the original.

Meh. Soooooo boring! I read the other reviews saying what the sit-come parts mean but we got it in the first two episodes, now please move on! I understand that in the first couple of episodes is essential to highlight the difference between sitcom and reality but after the third episode, I had enough. I'm not too fond of sit-coms in general so I couldn't stand it anymore. Moreover, they are sooooo long! I continually skipped them as soon as they started cause I realised they don't add to the plot or the argument itself. They could be standalone awful sitcom sketches. I gave it the benefit of the doubt because the idea was original but it was not well developed, unfortunately. The plot is losing is grip nearly straight away. Also, SPOILER ALERT... The obsession she has with killing him and the drug plot is so stupid and obnoxious. I thought it was going to reveal bigger meanings or different avenues but it is just so stupid. I stopped at episode 4 cause I literally could not take another stupid sitcom scene anymore. Avoid!

Every time I watch this movie I end up crying multiple times. It is so well done. A heartbreaking and heartwarming story at the same time with a bit or humour here and there. I'm glad they put humour, otherwise it would have been a very heavy movie. Adopting and fostering stories are not easy to tell but I believe this is a great way of making a movie about it. I'm not saying I don't like dramatic movies but, it is a nice new way of mixing humour and the reality of broken/newly created families. I loved every minute.

Love the idea and it could have been a brilliant show but.. it's not executed well unfortunately! I hate when sci-fi TV shows get to the point where "anything is possible" (see Westworld) but don't get to explain or give a meaning to things. Also, what's up with the sadistic and psychosis of ms Cobel towards Mark? Stalking him at home, stalking him and enjoying torturing him at work too (her face while he gets tortured gets awkwardly aroused). That is so awkward and unnecessary. So many things are unnecessary in this show tbh. It could have been a 2-hourish movie!
