Let's just say I never imagined a children's musical film would make me so emotional, I spent nearly half that thing crying, the other half excited and overall thrilled. It's been such a LONG TIME since I've seen such passion and art in such a simple yet beautifully put story. Last thing to note, I saw the 1996 Matilda and was having low expectations for a netflix produced Ms.Trunchbull, especially after the brilliant performance of Pam Ferris, but OMG Emma Thompson was KILLING IT! She was so terrifying I LOVED IT! You win this time netflix..
