Few shows can make me feel this way after finishing each episode. Ted Lasso doesn’t shy away from hard situations and questions, and it still does so in emotionally-engaging ways. The philosophies and and deeper meanings in this show are all inspirational and there are very few characters that aren’t enjoyable or sympathetic to. I always end each episode with a sense of both joy and hope in not only how well the show is made, but almost a hope that this show can make people better by watching and understanding its lessons.
I’m a big soccer fan, but you don’t need to be at all to enjoy this. I’m the same way as “Moneyball” did for baseball, there isn’t a lot of actual soccer footage here. Just great characters dealing with their personal situations in a very well written story.
