As a fan of the animated version of The Little Mermaid, I was excited to see this this movie. I was very disappointed in it. The acting was subpar with the exception of Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. I did not like the additional songs. The film was very dark and at times I couldn’t see what was happening. I wish I would have waited to watch it when it was free. Wasted my money.
