This rendition of wicked was absolutely incredible. Cynthia had phenomenal power house vocals, Ariana shocked me with how well and lively her acting was, and every character was so beautifully played. I loved how they brought the previous wicked musical ladies out in honor of their performances. I was incredibly emotional during the dance scene at the school as well as defying gravity. I was shocked I was so moved by the movie, but I felt a whole array of emotions during the 3 hours. Which by the way, did not feel like three hours. I danced, laughed, cried, but not once did I get bored. The wizard of Oz was my favorite movie as a little girl and I absolutely enjoyed this. I’m impressed with every aspects. The set, production, music, acting, dancing, story l, was amazing.

SPOILERS: The ending is awful. I feel like the characters aren’t representative to the comics or past movies either. The cinematography was phenomenal. Honestly I didn’t even hate the musical aspect. But the Jokers character in the sequel is portrayed as sad, lame, pathetic, which couldn’t be farther from the actual Joker. Harley breaks up with him (which doesn’t seem true to her character either)? Then he just dies? I kept waiting throughout the entire movie for him and Harley to go on some crazy killing spree. Escaping his situation and proving that he is the villain we all know and love. I figured this would be the reason for the musical. Some grandiose finale to show case the return of Harley Quinn and the Joker, but that couldn’t be farther from what happened. The acting was amazing, truly! It was the storyline that failed.
