Easily the worst MCU film to date. Seems like the writers knew the movie was a dumpster fire so they tried to put it out with never ending jokes. When I say never ending, I mean NEVER ENDING. Every single scene that could have been serious and actually made the plot meaningful was ruined by constant humor. They took Zeus, one of the most powerful gods in the universe, turned him into a clown and killed him off after 5 minutes. It was easily one of the most painful scenes I’ve had to sit through ever. Not to mention it makes no sense that they just walked into a room with the most powerful gods in the universe and just walked out with Zeus’ bolt. I have second hand embarrassment for the creators of this movie. They also had to throw in some extra scenes to add “inclusiveness”. None of which added anything to the plot. Personally, I think the movie was funny. But I’m not going to see Thor purely for humor. It was too excessive and by the end I did not care about the story at all. The entire plot was based around Thor finding his way back to love and when Jane died I could have yawned. All in all. Bad movie. Just wait to watch it on Disney plus.
