Kasdan turned a classic sword and sorcery story from the 80s into a hamfisted YA storyline with modern slang and vernacular, post modern jukebox style covers of a variety of popular songs consist of the soundtrack, poor acting and set design. The show's namesake character is barely in it, and when he is, he mostly shouts at the children for being idiots, they huff off, get lost, and then he has to shout at everyone else to go find them. Truly awful. This show makes Wheel of Time and Rings of Power look like masterpieces.
