A wonderful remaster of an already beautiful game. The assassin Creed series always did a great job of making the time period and cities within the best parts of their games. Boston and New York are breath taking. A definite step up in clarity from the PS3 version and the frontier is absolutely teeming with life. The plants and dense forests are also presented in better clarity but not as much as the cities. The game plays the same with minor improvements to the mini map and ability to whistle from cover that has become a staple of newer entries to the series. Connor is still as brutal as ever. The tomahawk is the most brutal weapon introduced in any game including origins and oddessy and really shines here. Do yourself a favor wether your revisiting ac3 once again or experiencing it for the first time clear your schedule and get lost in the beautiful recreation of the American revolution. You will enjoy every second of it. (Except for the final sequence with Charles Lee) still gets on my nerves.

Absolutely phenomenal piece of art. Hat's off to Rockstar and everyone involved in creating this game. The game world is just begging to be explored and it never let's you down. From hunting and fishing to discovering treasure and everything in between, Rockstar found a way through immersion to grab the player and never let go. Everything and everyone feels significant as you carve your own adventure out into the old west. The characters are gripping and each individual has so many layers to them that you will learn something new with each interaction.
