From reading Steph’s story it seems that the fundamentalism of the Sydney Anglican Diocese is more interested in repressing individuals than practising the compassion that I thought was the teaching of Christ.
The obsession with ‘purity’ before marriage is outdated as is their antigay teaching. The obsession with not following sexual desires as a way into heaven is medieval and harmful.
This is an enlightening story of middle Australian religion losing its way.
Read this and you will be shocked.
