I first read Carrie’s War in secondary School and I never forgot it. I bought the novel and the 1970s Television series on dvd and I’m in my fifties and I can’t believe that Carrie’s War is fifty. How the years fly by. If I could give this absolute Classic more stars I’d give far more than just five. I have read and re-read this novel and I still enjoy reading it. Thank You Nina Bawden for introducing us to Carrie, Nick, Albert, and the rest of the Characters.Anyone who hasn’t read Carrie’s War you should, you’ll not be disappointed.
