hometown cha cha cha feels like a cozy blanket and a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter night. this drama snuggles you up and gives you a warm hug and tells you everything's gonna be alright when things feel overwhelming.
this is probably my favorite drama because of its main leads. The relationship between the leads develops so organically. the character development is also shown in a way where it feels very natural to see their backstory developing little by little and you get to know the characters on a personal level without it feeling like the director is giving you heavy exposition. the side characters are also developed well except for one storyline which wasn't my personal favorite. but apart from that the thing that really sells the show and cements it as one of the best shows in kdrama history is just how healthy the relationship of the main leads is. they are so incredibly kind to each other and help each other grow as people that it's really refreshing to see.
