I have been watching hockey night in Canada for over 50 years now and last night was the worst telecast I have ever seen. I was watching the Winnipeg Jets play the Calgary Flames. The play-by-play man could hardly get a word in edgewise because Cassie Campbell could not stop talking. All she did was describe the play that we just saw all over again. She did not wait till the whistle to fill in the time between place. If she’s going to continue doing this job she has to learn when to be quiet and let the play-by-play man do his job.
