Bheemla Nayak a good watchable movie. I couldn't understand why these much negatives about this movie, I am a malayali and watched Ayyappanum Koshiyum first very impressive movie. But this remake gave a new life to it.
Several good changes are made, fan moments are there but I felt the character of Suguna was an asset, she is the strength of Nayak here. In the original movie Kannamma was having some strong dialogues that's right but just 2 scenes, here Suguna was a very supportive and lovable wife of Nayak, also that she don't compromise for any bad deeds even if Nayak says that, she is strong helps others as much as she can and that's a very beautiful improvisation by Trivikram.
Also Danny's wife was a little more assertive here. In the original even Koshi slapped her once when she speaks against louder, and they gives a justification to it. Here Danny loves her more and even gives her space to speak infront of hIs father. These are the best changes I felt, that classic movie haven't considered the female leads as important but here that is satisfied, also but still I felt Suguna could be shown on the end once as how she responds to changed situation.
In the climax when Nayak gives off his all anger for just the word he kept , the promise he made to Danny's wife that was when truth wins over bad deeds, that is impressive, in the original even Nair was teased by Koshi's influence, that wins there justifying the bad deeds that I didn't felt good.
Overall I felt the remake was watchably good for fans and still family audience too.
