The game has its moments of bringing back the classic Pokemon feel that we all love, but everything good about the game is overshadowed by the absolutely abysmal performance on the Switch. As much as I wanted to enjoy the game, the constant framerate drops, pixelated graphics, and random object pop-ups while running around made it a very frustrating game to play. I would be more than happy to give the game a 5 star review once the issues are fixed, as the game itself is very fun, but I don't think Nintendo should be able to get away with releasing this game at $80.00 CAD when it looks and performs worse than any indie game that I've played on the Switch.
