It is a story of hope and love. But it is also a harrowing story and it can happen to any family, and it does, no family is guaranteed exemption from mental health issues.
This story came to a happy ending because of the love, strength, and courage of Alice, her family, friends, and strangers on the other side of the world: those 'world-away' friends kept Alice safe until her family traveled to Turkey to bring her home. Alice's story has been generously, truthfully, skillfully and thoughtfully told. Thank you for the warning and for the hope.

Painfully slow movie with predictable plot twists. The film attempts to be raw and real but unrealistic survival feats (especially trecking with a badly broken leg) betray this idea. It fails to refresh the survival genre... which seems to be its aim.
