I totally agree that this movie is depressing as hell. It shows homelessness in a way that the western Arizona nomads consider ok. When it is anything BUT that. It is a sad lonely life portrayed in the movie that is almost like a cult enticement... They gather together and seem to enable each others habits and bad choices because the looks on all their faces are all the same sad. Hopeless. And desolate!!! It was very hard to watch because to me it's like a cult of people that tell each other that this way of living is ACCEPTABLE. it is not. If someone gets seriously sick, all you really have is SOUP and NO medicine because your out in the middle of nowhere and i think having a child in such a unhappy place is ludicrous,. So I think this gets a huge thumbs down!!!
