Did the people who made the movie even read the book?! This was one of the worst adaptations I have seen. They basically changed everything they could, and it was just such a waste of time watching this movie. The book should not have been so hard to adapt; it is cute, and funny, and very Christmasy-it's a rom-com begging to be shown on the big screen! Unfortunately this did not land in the hands of the right people, and is simply not good. The only bright point was Shameik Moore. Bravo to him for a wonderfully charismatic performance. I look forward to seeing more of his work.
