I gave it 5 only because you can't select 4.5. My father was an military man and this one means a lot. I watched the oringial with him so many times and I wish he could have seen it. Regarding this film, you get just enough nostalgia but not over done. The flight sences are so freaking awesome and the best thing is they accomplished the hardest part, not remaking the first film. It's honestly just a fun movie that I'll be going to see again. My only gripe is I believe they could have gone alittle more in Roosters character in the begining but it's nitpicking.

Another brilliant film by Nolan. His use once again of the musical score was fantastic. I thought his choice of pace to make this movie was perfect especially for a longer film. The acting was top notch by many cast members. This is right up there with Inception and interstellar for me. Loved it
