Historically, the film follows the large picture well. However, the devil is in the details. A lot to nitpick, but nevermind. It's a movie, not a documentary. In this film tribute is paid, great tribute. I could not help contain the few tears than slipped and ran down my cheeks. I watched the ending credits describing the fate of those major players and their role in our shared victory 74 short years ago filled with pride those men, and indeed, all Americans who sacrificed so much, and some everything. This film is well worth every minute. Minor historical arts and all.
