Of course, you can't call this film the pinnacle of Guy Ritchie's creations, but I got very positive emotions from watching it. Throughout the film, I couldn't shake one thought – how beautifully it was shot. Truly cinematic. Although it seems like it should always be this way, we're not often treated to such visual splendor nowadays. The use of light and color really creates a delightful picture that you just can't take your eyes off.
The actors are perfectly cast. The film is inherently humorous, so we're not talking about deep acting performances. However, the characters are played with enjoyment. They are real men who know their stuff well and take on the challenging mission placed on their shoulders with enthusiasm.
Special mention goes to the female role. Either the actress is so good, or she is shot so beautifully, but her character captivates from the very first minutes. A new version of Jolie, not a copy, but a similar type, which I think has been missing from the screens for a while.
Overall, the film isn't particularly about war, although there's plenty of action. And it's shot very tastefully.
If you want to get aesthetic pleasure from the visuals and feel good about the balanced portrayal of male and female energy, you'll definitely like it!
