I love Stephan King's books. I feel bereft when I don't have anything of his to read, however, I'm really not liking the political undertone of the last few years. I'm a quarter of the way through Holly and tired of feeling preached to. I'm not a big fan of the Holly character to begin with, but the masterful storylines and chilling villians that surround usually make for a good read. Im just not getting swept into this current book.

We've tried watching this twice. The delivery and lack of any spark of life by the characters make this an unbearably dry, dull movie. I'm sure eventually in the plot something happens but for the first 40 minutes it's just dreadful.
