Was utterly bored by this game. It's a very short game, but I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Here's the basic story: our hero is burdened by the expectations that he should follow in his uncles footsteps. He must find his own artistic voice. It's not a complicated story's so why do I have to read so much text about this? Truly, the "visual novel" sections were the most tedious parts of the game and lasted way too long.
The gameplay wasn't compelling enough to save the tedious story. I'm not a particularly good video game player, but it wasn't remotely challenging. The game is so ridiculously easy that it made me wonder what the point of having these platforming / Simon Says sections even was. This story could be told as a cartoon since removing the interactive aspect of the story would not change anything important.
The only saving grace of the game are the visuals and the music. It's a real shame that a game where so much effort was put into the art and music had to fail so badly in the actual "gaming" portion.
