Rapid Growth

Ultimately it gets 2 stars because it’s incomplete. I like the modern mobility we’ve come to expect in 2022 finally being applied to Halo. However the game clearly isn’t finished being made but they’re selling it to the public. This leaves a dangerous precedent for future game development. Halo 5 was a huge disappointment with the split screen co-op removal and now there’s no Co-Op at all! There’s no forge mode either! The battle pass system leaves me wanting to abandon Halo altogether since now I have to not only earn the armor in game but I have to pay extra for the chance to earn it! Despite painstakingly collecting the armor pieces in the campaign first to use in the multiplayer like I have always done with the halo games I still have nothing worth showing off to say look at my accomplishments. Overall this game feels like a money grab with very little thought or care about the customers and their gaming experience. It feels like they rushed things despite getting delayed an extra year. The game feels incomplete and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a halo game again. I only got this one because it was gifted to me. After Halo 5 left me feeling nearly as ripped off I said I wouldn’t buy another one. I’m sad to see they’re getting worse rather than fixing the split screen issues they implemented out of greed. 343 industries has failed Bungie and the legacy they left them!
