The absolute best historical piece of Scandinavian culture I've seen. For those who have left poor review, do some research on who vikings were and learn about their culture. I wish I could have lived in this time period. It does a great job at showing how life was hard and can be cruel. To survive it you had to be hard, and this film does a great job at showing that. I wish there was more armor, but what they gave was just fine. The jewelry was spot on, the garb was awesome, could be more accurate, but its a step in the right direction of trying to portray how they looked rather than having people in leather arm bracers with horned helms. I hope to see more historically accurate films like this.
