The plot is not believable. Why would a sane person submit herself to incarceration for anybody, even for a friend. The monetary award of P10k is too demeaning. Obviously, this person has low esteem. Why would any lawyer represent her mother's dubious claim of 50% of someone's business, when: #1 her husband has committed adultery, which in the Philippines carry a prison term, #2 the aggrieved parties are Ellice and het father, #3 it is obvious that there was an amicable, out-of-court settlement regarding his liaison (extra marital) affair with his wife. This is a major betrayal of trust among business partners that is why he forfeited ownership. Marissa is not an unwitting victim#1 She slept with Ellice's husband which is a crime in the Philippines, #2 She has entered into an oral binding agreement with a crime syndicate and is involved in extortion to own shares in Ellice's pearl company, #3 she is engaged in emotional blackmail with an impostor son, #4 she is an abuser.
