I was excited, to say the very least, to learn that one of my favorite books was being made into a miniseries. Three episodes convinced me that the book was tossed aside and a new plot path was forged. It did, however, send me back to Asimov’s masterpiece which I enjoyed reading again as much I did the first time a half century ago.
