One of my childhood favourites, still to this day I could sit down and watch it all over again. The characters are realistic and when I was younger I wished I could be with them, exploring, rescuing and protecting. The Octonauts is one of those few gems where even adults could watch it and learn something new. You can't help but just love the octopods family and get engaged even at an older age. The characters are all different and unique, all with their own strengths and flaws which make them all the more lovable. The Octonauts are fantastic at educating viewers about not only animals and nature but also about being a good person and doing the right thing. It isn't your average fun little kids show its so much more, instead of dumbing it down and dodging big problems in the world they embrace it and teach it in a way all ages can understand. it taught me that the world is big and complex and not always black and white, not everyone is as they seem. Its funny and educational all packed into this amazing childhood favourite. The Octonauts can make anyone want to be an explorer. it has an excellent storyline, realistic characters and so much love. I would recommend this kids show to a 50 year old and I'm not joking I actually have. The Octonauts is awesome even to a 13 year old like me.
