This is a fascinating, well written, well-documented and thorough discussion of a topic that continues to puzzle political philosophers. Leontsini's discussion of Aristotle's ethics and politics is outstanding, as well as her understanding of the liberal-communitarian debate. Her writing is engaging. Among other virtues, she takes the time to avoid question-begging technical language.
