Genuinely the worst call of duty I have ever played in my life. Literally a dlc to last year’s mw2 that’s priced like a full game. It’s a copy and paste from last year’s game but instead of making improvements, they made every possible cost-cutting worst decision you could make. The entire perk system is abysmal, the spawns are the worst I’ve ever seen, the servers are a laggy nightmare, there’s a massive delay trying to shoot at enemies when they’re shooting at you first, the campaign cheaped out by using the warzone map as its entire layout and its terrible in general, and the list goes on. This game is a buggy nightmare and you just know that they are either a) gonna take months to fix them or b) not gonna fix them at all just like last game. It’s already happening. Returning back to mw2 was a breath of fresh air which should point out to just how terrible mw3 is considering that game is also a heaping pile of trash. It makes cod ghosts look good. Like the last game, nothing about this game has anything to do with the old mw3. Sure they chucked in old mw2 maps cause the developers can’t design a good map to save their life anymore, but it makes me feel like they only used the title and the maps of the old games to squeeze as much money as possible from people who were hoping to have nostalgia from when they were younger, when call of duty was good. Sorry to say you’re wasting your money if you buy this game for that reason. Cod has gone from excitable year by year gameplay experiences with proper dlcs and fun and earnable add-ons to this. A micro-transaction filled, money grabbing, unfinished, dlc to last years game. Disappointing and I won’t be buying another game if this is the trajectory this franchise is going on. Seeing as though this game is sitting at a 1.6 star rating, it’s well deserved…
