I got to episode 3 and almost turned it off, I only finished the show because of the raving reviews. The pace is ridiculously slow and there are so many unnecessary and unrealistic scenes. I don’t understand where all these good reviews are coming from? Some of the acting was good but the show needs a lot of refining. All the characters were in such close proximity in such an amateur way, it took ages to build the story and get to the point. My rating is quite generous tbh the idea was good but the execution was utterly poor.

Absolutely stunning, masterpiece. Excellent character building, the script is so beautifully written, almost as beautiful as the costume and setting. I cried, I laughed. The show is just so good. 10/10 for me. I don't know how they managed to covey so much in only 10 episodes. Mariko Sama was my favourite character and then Yabushige. Loved every minute of the show.
