if you can't face the change then you maybe not ready for the this kind of movies, this is exactly how doctor strange should have been, and it wasn't messy, it was just too much for people to digest in 2h 6m and because this was heavily connected to MCU tv show, there was a continuity which not many understood while watching. and there was many things like little doubts about stuffs were being hinted in dialogue and if you hear and connect everything, the whole movie make sense, also horror element and gore element is normal when the whole story is about witch hunting, and if you don't know it's very comic book movie where only the original universe aka earth 616 matters other universes are basically, works as what if, which you can change, destroy or even re write some stuffs and nothing will impact with the original story, but does show stuff which can be adapted from other universe to make their universe better, its like dream where things happens but doesn't affect your daily life, so chill and enjoy the movie because they cleared everything that matters in the story and there are stuff which was like a tease and hints, if you try to get answer of everything, you better start reading comics then, because in mcu they usually setup as hint just to explore in other project, its just this time they setup too many things which for some viewer got messy, but i believe that they can easily explain everything in next movie, and as a movie itself DS2 was great and was mindblowing and interesting till the end.
