Honestly, I don’t do book reviews but I just have to say that this book was an amazing read up until the most basic plot twist and sudden ending. On page 100, I had already mapped out the entire forgettable plot. Still, it wasn’t terrible and the romance scenes in general were amazingly written. I had trouble following the action sequences but those were enjoyable too. I just wish I didn’t have that feeling that I didn’t finish the book when the ending suddenly arrives. The book edges you into a final spectacle and just ends. I don’t even think that another book is possible because Marie Lu already explored too many aspects of everybody’s lives. So my honest review is that this book is an amazing read if you can stomach through very basic plot twists with extremely confusing action sequences and the most abrupt ending, in modern literature. 2.5/5 - 3.5/5
