Everything you loved about the previous Transformers movies died in this film. Most of all, the willingness to follow Optimus Primes leadership, virtue, and selflessness to the ends of the earth. In this movie, Prime was reduced to a bitter, self-loathing, bully with the character development of an old shoe. You would have to TRY to take such a beloved character and bring him down this far. And the action scenes that you know and love from Micheal Bay? Gone in this film, my friend. Again, it's almost impossible to be BORED in a Transformers movie, but this one did it with ease. You had autobots and maximals available for the most epic fights of all time and they got about 10 minutes of real screen time. This movie had so much potential. Instead, it was literally awful.
