I debated how to rate this: it is unoriginal, poorly acted, an so cliche. So I felt my rating is deserved, but like any clickbait it fails to disappoint in its disappointment. So maybe I should have given five…..nope, one is all it deserves.

At first it seemed to have promise but then in wound down into a story with no direction. Nothing meant anything and scenes lost all light leaving the viewer to spend more time trying to figure out what character was in the frame. Which was better than trying to make connections the filmmaker lost along the way. Don’t waste your time on this one. M. Night Shamaylan has lost any grip of talented filmmaking he had.

Bland, cliche, predictable. And in a show about a science startup and statistics of clinical trials, what are the odds a group of high school friends all have deep dark little secrets that will turn the world upside down?

Long, drawn out storytelling that might have had substance in a ninety minute movie. Repetitive scenes leave the viewer saying “you showed that already, move on.” Boring and predictable.

The filmmaker took on too much, expanding a story into the ridiculous, illogical, and unwoven. The movie could have been tightened up to provide a taut storyline. Instead it came across as haphazard and ill conceived. A pity, because it started out great with the family, looked like it was going to add a horrifying facet with the neighbors, but spun out of control into a “huh?” moment.
