Very tame,really so not what did happen,it was brutal.It was the Japanese engineers that were the brains behind the building of these bridges etc. My father came out of that hell hole weighing just over 6 stone.If you want to see a film that is close to horror then watch The Railway Man,staring Colin Firth.
