When was the last time I saw people coming crying out of the theater?their heart so heavy that sat all through the credits and still found it difficult to leave the theater and reconciling what they had just witnessed. Was it a masterpiece? Was it and emotional rollercoaster? Was it the nation's sacrosanct pride bubbling within? Was it a movie or was it a live match we just witnessed coupled with behind the scenes? And I am in a dream? Was S.A.Rahim the only man who could bring us pride on the global level? Has it already been 64 years(close to a lifetime)?Nobody could answer these questions to the ones they cane to watch the movie with because they just ended up crying everytime they thought they could answer these questions and hence everybody just left in silence! I don't know if this is not the standard of a movie what is!
If you haven't watched this movie please do watch it I am no promoter of any actor because I only like the films that I watch and I like and never had I ever saw my mother become a teenager and acting like she was on the bench or in the stadium (because she told me it felt like she was on the ground and the funny part is she doesn't even know the rules of football) and that's the power of carefully crafted sporting journey of a nation depicted through a movie which unites us and make this "cloud-cuckoo-land" most believable
