Always love to see what Spiders brings to the table. I love the world's they create. The combat is fun, while you can see the inspiration from Souls games, Steelrising has a good amount going for it to make itself stand out and on its own. It's definitely easier than the usual fare from your FromSoftware devs, but again there are unique challenges there too (if you don't get tempted by just abusing the super OP pistol the whole game through...like I did. Whoops) Please, obviously, be aware that this is a AA studio that puts their heart into everything they do and it shows. Don't go into this expecting a perfectly polished AAA title, but I'll be damned if it doesn't shine enough on its own. I wish more people were willing (if able of course) to support these smaller devs. I'll always support trying something new in an industry that is in love with rehashing the same stuff in a different packaged year.
