After following out several threads in this movie, I found something that I really am interested in.
When Patricia has her vision looking up at the ceiling from the nun's bed, it is right out of "An Enduring Chill" by Flannery O'Connor.
That is not a bad thing.
The character Patricia would almost certainly have read O'Connor.
Someday Miller may speak on this part of the movie.
I just found out that some people are having difficulty finding a showing.
This may be an instant "cult classic."

Great cast!
I wonder if the writers knew of a Jack London story that was a lot like the main plot in THE JACKET.
The story was titled THE STAR ROVER.
