I've been a diehard fan since the 90's, and I'm in love! I've been waiting for this forever, and it's near perfection, IMHO. The only critique I have is that despair is just a fat person, which I guess is hideous enough to encapsulate the emotion?? If we're focusing on representation, please include everyone, thx! But other than that, all the character "changes" felt like they perfectly encapsulated the feelings of the original characters, and anyone else who says anything about them trying too hard to be inclusive, or "woke" are just scared about losing your place in the cultural majority. And should be! 😘
