To destroy people who had no malice at all, because the President of the US didn't like what was being said about him? What a small minded self centered individual, Bush is.

I really enjoy how family oriented Georgina is. How inviting she is into her world, her life. Humble... such a humble beautiful women. But why does she have anything to do with Ramone. He's unprofessional and seems to be how can I say "slow, dimwitted". Always trying to steal the spot light but ends up with egg on his face. Then plays that off as indifference. How obvious Ramone is! He talks about being a perfectionist than does the most unprofessional, ignorant things? If your going to pretend to be a professional stop contradicting your stupidity with more stupidness Ramone! Ramone should be so greatful for Georgina, who has given him a career and allows him into her life. Ramone you are so fake Georgina get yourself someone who is helpful, he is not. I don't feel you see him for who he really is because of your history together. (If someone in your group upsets the group than that someone is a problem & screams it's all about me. No it's all about Georgina) Girl you owe him nothing & can do so much better than Ramone. He owes you! He is not even greatful enough to act professional nor helpful to you nor upset others around you? Such a beautiful person as you Georgina, you deserve to be surrounded by the best people, sorry to say Ramone is not one of those. I actually fast forward anything Ramone is in. Ramone really upsets me & literally causes me a physically sicking feeling. Congratulations Georgina you deserve everything you have accomplished and such an equally wonderful mate.

Winslet is incredible as always. I hate to say it, the actress Vida character as a child is so homely; & the horrible demeanor of the character makes the actress even more unattractive. It is actually distracting. The adult Vida isn’t much of an improvement. Vida in the original was attractive both as a child & adult, Elizabeth Taylor. She made you both love & hate her. I feel in this remake it put to much emotion connection on the focus on the Vida character just by her looks. It wasn’t needed on top of the characters unlike able demeanor. Really a shame because it outshines the emotional connection that was created by Winslet.

Charming movie. I almost didn't bother watching due to the reviews. Many people did not like the movie. I read many reviews that mentioned the characters where unlikable. In the era of the story society was divided you where rich or poor and you where judged on that. A pecking order that depended on your income, rank of birth; Male or Female. I cant imagine it. I feel it's because the other adaptations of Emma have new age undertones. This movie tries very hard to stay with the period of the story and tries to follow what would have been the mannerisms of that period. Which I feel they did a wonderful job copying the period, I loved it. Beautiful costumes, fabulous acting and locations. I also love how they gave voice to characters who had very little. Love, love, loved it! Staying true to the period it made me feel as if I was looking right into the minds eye of Jane Austen! A must see.
