Enjoyable reading about all the characters of Whistlestop and what became of them. I thought the storyline was somewhat contrived, however, not very realistic. And Idgie shouldn’t have won that hand; an ace high always beats a jack! There also seemed to be a lot of discrepancies in this book compared to the first - ages of people, dates not synching between books, etc. Being a black and white type of person, these errors were a distraction. I also didn’t feel like the story lines really supported the title that strongly.
