5 Stars! Yes, that is certainly a setting far removed in time...the Stone Age. They didn't have any writing, so we don't know much about it. The writer nevertheless used historic facts, most importantly Doggerland, which was the land that once connected (what is now) Great Britain with the European mainland. The story is great, and the beautiful illustrations helped me with imagining what it must have looked like. Sorry, I don't know music, but the writer also wrote a couple of songs that are part of the story and printed in the book. No doubt, I recommend it!
