I really liked it, the stunning action sequences and visual effects made it a worthy watch. The plot isn't that great though.

This definitely is a live action version of the animated series, there were some really cool moments however the shift in tone was a bit unsettling, if you choose to ignore that you'll have a great time. It could have been a great movie if the studio had more faith in Zack Snyder than Joss Whedon. I'm praying they would release an extended cut.

The Ultimate edition is really good, loved it.
